The PME cell has been constituted in the DMR recently with the aim of dealing with all project related matters concerning the Scientists and entrusted with the compilation, generation and publication of various important documents of the Institute viz., Annual Report, News Letter, Publications etc. Brief functions of the PME cell are:
- To advise the Director on all aspects related to technical management which may include:
- Quarterly development of Research Frame Documents (RFD),
- Quarterly and monthly reports,
- Crop advisory reports,
- Report on MRP of scientists,
- Monthly Cabinet Reports,
- Holding of QRT, RACs, IRCs, IVRCs,
- Monthly meetings of scientists and Technical staff and other technical meetings,
- Organizing Science Day, Food Day, World Environment Day, Weekly/Institute Seminars and other such activities as decided.
- Sending material for ICAR Reporter, ICAR News, DARE Report and other technical information required by the Council.
- To monitor and maintain RPFs
- Quarterly meeting of Research Groups (RGM).
- Annual Reports, Newsletter and
- Issues related to Institute Technology Management and consultancy.
